Site Administrator 

Location: Fort Saskatchewan, AB

Duration: 12 Months (Possible extension)  

 

Position Summary:

Provide administrative support and coordination for on-site activities within the oil and gas industry, ensuring smooth operations and efficient project execution.

Manage office logistics, including office supplies, equipment maintenance, and facility coordination to support site personnel.

Assist in organizing meetings, conferences, and events, including scheduling, room arrangements, and catering services as needed.

Maintain accurate records, databases, and filing systems for project documentation, reports, permits, and other essential paperwork.

Support project managers and teams with data entry, report preparation, and information dissemination to facilitate communication and decision-making.

Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and transportation for site staff, visitors, and contractors.

Manage communication channels such as emails, phone calls, and mail distribution to ensure timely and effective information flow.

Collaborate with HR to assist in onboarding new employees, maintaining personnel records, and supporting HR initiatives on-site.

Monitor and track project expenses, invoices, and budget allocations to assist in financial reporting and cost control.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations by coordinating training, inspections, and record-keeping on-site.

Assist in resolving administrative issues, conflicts, and operational challenges to promote a productive work environment.

 

Qualifications:

  •  High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in office administration is a plus.

  •  Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in the oil and gas industry or a related field.

  •  Proficiency in office software applications such as Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

  •  Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

  •  Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

  •  Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, safety protocols, and operational procedures.

  •  Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing priorities on-site.

Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Inspector

Location: Medicine Hat, AB

Duration: 12 Months (Possible extension)  

 

Position Summary:

Conduct inspections and oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems in the oil and gas industry.

Ensure compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations for safety and quality control.

Inspect and test electrical equipment, control systems, and instrumentation devices to ensure proper functioning.

Review technical documentation, drawings, and specifications to verify accuracy and adherence to project requirements.

Identify and report any issues, defects, or non-compliance with regulatory standards to ensure timely resolution.

Collaborate with engineering and project teams to provide expertise and recommendations for E&I systems.

Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to ensure proper installation and functionality of E&I systems.

Conduct site visits, audits, and assessments to monitor progress, quality, and safety of E&I installations.

Communicate effectively with stakeholders, contractors, and project managers to address concerns and provide updates on inspection findings.

Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to electrical and instrumentation systems in the oil and gas sector. 

 

Qualifications:

  •  Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.

  •  Certification in inspection techniques or relevant E&I certifications.

  •  Knowledge of industry standards such as API, NEC, and ISA codes.

  •  Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

  •  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  •  Prior experience working in the oil and gas industry or a related field is preferred.

Mechanical Planner (Reliability program development)

Location: Calgary, AB

Duration: 6-12 Months (Possible extension) 

 

Position Summary:

  • Mechanical Planner responsibilities include Creating, modifying SAP Plan maintenance work order packages so they can be scheduled and executed. Develop BOMs Bill of Materials, master data, create Stocking material requests and attach to equipment records. Create SAP work packages that includes resources, materials, hours, costs, defined activity steps to Planned work order packages.

 

Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Reliability Processes.

  • Experience working with SAP & creating maintenance work orders / plans 

  • Experience in Maintenance and CSU

  • Trade Ticket (Red Seal)

Commissioning Lead E&I

Location: Edmonton, AB

Duration: 12 Months  

 

Position Summary:

  • E.I Commissioning Lead responsibilities include Creating, preparation of project forecasts, schedules, costs estimate associated with the commissioning scope.
    - Creating Commissioning strategies, Manage suppliers and other resources providing services and supplying materials or equipment for commissioning.

  • Ensure use of PIMS CMS and other relevant Project Completion tools. Coordination of appropriate commissioning discipline resources with the skills to:
    - Witness contractor/supplier tests as necessary (MC-check/FAT/SAT) 
    - Develop, review, and implement commissioning procedures.
    - Implement the commissioning scope.
    - Ensure a smooth transition from Project to Operations.
    - As required; set up and co-ordinate commissioning reviews, covering relevant

Location: Edmonton, AB

Duration: 12 Months (Possible extension)  

 

Position Summary:

Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials, equipment, and services for oil and gas operations.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and identify procurement needs for various stages of the supply chain.

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing, terms, and conditions while maintaining quality standards.

Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance to ensure adherence to delivery schedules, quality requirements, and compliance with industry regulations.

Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams to optimize inventory levels, track shipments, and manage the flow of materials to meet project timelines.

Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation.

Conduct supplier assessments, audits, and evaluations to ensure alignment with corporate policies, sustainability goals, and ethical standards. 

Prepare and analyze procurement reports, budgets, and forecasts to track expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and support decision-making processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and finance, to streamline processes, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement in the supply chain.

Qualifications:

Engineering responsibilities to supports maintenance and production departments with problem solving and program/project execution in order to reduce down time, improve process and lower operating costs by effectively applying Reliability Asset Management methods and predictive/preventive maintenance programs for the design, construction, maintenance, and operation activities.

 

Qualifications:

  •  Professional Engineer  

  •  Working knowledge of Reliability Processes.

  • Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) Certification.

Location: Edmonton, AB

Duration: 6 Months 

 

Position Summary:

  • Technical understanding of API 653 & 510 standards and all supporting documentation

  • Understanding of applicable provincial and federal regulatory requirements for API 653

  • Project coordination and delivery

  • Field inspection and work planning

  • On-site schedule logistics and schedule management

  • Technical writing and field inspection reporting skills

  • Project and process quality control monitoring

 

Qualifications:

  • Current API 653 certification

  • Current API 510 certification

  • Additional CGSB and API certifications are considered an asset

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency

  • Current First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry/Rescue, Fall Protection, CSO, EWP and WHMIS training

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

  •  Valid drivers license and clean Drivers Abstract
